The following sketches and photograph were kindly donated by Sue Pepin from Victoria, B.C.,Canada They are of her Great great grandmother Louisa Hayes, who was born June 25th 1816 to John and Mary Paine. She married John Hayes at St Marks Kennington on Nov 8 1837.They lived at 165/167 High St. Hampton Middlesex. It is thought that John Hayes was apothecary to Queen Victoria as yet unproved . She was the mother of ten and from were fairly well off and she seemed to spend four or five months a year traveling in her old age. She died in 1897 . |
