Anthony Arrowsmith was the husband of Emily Arrowsmith of Waimta,
Taihape, and served with the 2nd Battalion Canterbury Regiment in
the Somme where on 16th September 1916 was wounded and transferred
to No1 (Gen) Hospital at Brockenhurst where he subsequently died
21st October 1916
